A case crafted from 925 sterling silver makes this men’s Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight watch a particularly interesting collectable. The watch measures a compact 39mm diameter and comes equipped with all the expected Features of a highly reliable and robust diver’s watch. These Features include a 200-meter water resistance, a unidirectional rotating bezel and luminous markers against a legible dial. The luxury dive watch for men is fashioned on an unusual grey striped taupe fabric strap that encloses against the wrist with a 925 sterling silver buckle. The satin-finished effect on the surface of this watch’s case is the perfect match for a taupe-coloured dial. A domed anti reflective sapphire crystal glass protects a set of luminous hour and minute hands, along with circular, triangular and baton-shaped hour indexes. A silver unidirectional bezel will only rotate in the counter-clockwise direction to ensure dive time is never accidentally extended, whilst the watch case also Features a screw-down crown to uphold a dry environment for the Tudor Calibre MT5400. This self-winding movement is manufactured in-house by Tudor experts and offers an impressive 70-hour power reserve. Its performance and decoration can be admired through a sapphire crystal glass caseback.

I’ve had this black dial GMT-Master II homage for over a month now, and it’s become my go-to daily watch. The design is sleek and minimalist compared to the more colorful Pepsi or Batman versions — which makes it perfect for both work and casual wear. The black ceramic bezel has a subtle shine that catches the light just right, and the dial is deep and rich with perfectly aligned markers. The second time zone feature works as expected, and the independent hand is easy to set. The movement has been consistent, gaining around 8 seconds a day, which is well within what I’d expect from a mechanical. For the price, the build quality and finish are phenomenal. It’s hard to believe it’s not the real thing at a glance.
